Around half our clients are entrepreneurs similar to you, so don\u2019t worry, we\u2019re used to guiding people through the process. Intellectual property is an important part of the design process as it offers a protection against someone stealing your idea.\u00a0 There are different types of IP protection (not just patents) which protect different aspects of your design.\u00a0<\/p>

The two main \u2018exit strategies\u2019 to monetise your idea are either through selling a licence for it to be produced by an existing more established company or for you to produce and sell it yourself. We\u2019ve enjoyed working with several companies in China over the years for prototype and production parts. Depending on what you want to produce this can be the best option for you, but it\u2019s worth discussing properly as manufacturing in the UK can have distinct benefits also.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
